GT7 Fanmade U.I. - Career Mode Selection

I've heard criticisms of GT6 where people felt they didn't get enough "freedom" as some would prefer to start in the career anyway they want. Of course, I personally love the GT career mode the way it was with the idea of working your way to the top. So, this idea for a hypothetical GT7 is a compromise. The ability to select your own career mode to explore. 

You would select this mode before you start your career mode and that would become your game for now on. 

There are 3 modes in my vision:

Sandbox Mode - The free to play mode where you pick your own career path. Start in any racing class and work your way through the career that way. 

Gran Turismo Mode - The same career setup that has been in every GT game since the first. Though with some tweaks to make it more interesting. Physic and difficulty levels are customizable still though like in Forza.

Simulation Mode - A full-on simulator style of career mode where you have a traditional racing career atmophere with sponsors to offer, picking your own racing teams, and of course sim physics.
